There were four games played in the American Association on Tuesday, including the Chicago Dogs hanging on to defeat the St. Paul Saints, and both the Sioux City Explorers and the Kansas City T-Bones were victorious.

Explorers Batter Canaries, 14-4
The Sioux City Explorers defeated the Sioux Falls Canaries on Tuesday, 14-4. Nate Samson and Sebastian Zawada each homered and drove in three runs. Every player in the Sioux City starting lineup had at least one-hit and scored at least one run scored. Taylor Jordan earned the victory, allowing four runs in 7.2 innings pitched.
Dogs Hang on to Defeat Saints, 11-9
The Chicago Dogs scored six runs in the top of the fourth and three more in the ninth to take a commanding lead, but the St. Paul Saints would battle back before finally falling, 11-9. Victor Roache homered twice for Chicago, driving in four runs as the Dogs avoided the sweep. Jeremy Martinez hit a homerun and drove in three for St. Paul.
Five Run Frame Propels T-Bones, 6-1
The Kansas City T-Bones would score five runs in the top of the sixth to down the Texas AirHogs, 6-1. Christian Correa and Danny Mars each drove in a pair of runs in the decisive frame. Tommy Collier tossed his fourth straight gem, allowing one run in six innings while striking out eight. The victory kept Kansas City one game behind Sioux City for the final playoff spot in the South Division, and moved them two games behind Cleburne for the top spot in the division.
Garcia Homers Twice to Lead Goldeyes
Willy Garcia homered twice and drove in four runs to lead the Winnipeg Goldeyes to a 13-7 victory over the Gary Southshore RailCats. Mitch Lambson had one of his toughest outings of the year, yet still earned the victory. Randy Santiesteban homered and drove in four for Gary.
