There were six games scheduled in the American Association on Thursday, including the St. Paul shutting out the Sioux City Explorers and the Kansas City T-Bones winning the rubber match of their series with Cleburne.

Saints Blank Explorers, 4-0
Ryan Zimmerman tossed five scoreless frames, combining with three relievers as the St. Paul Saints blanked the Sioux City Explorers, 4-0. Tanner Kiest earned the save in his first appearance for St. Paul. Chesney Young was a perfect 3-3, while driving in three runs. Josh Allen scored two runs.
T-Bones Douse Railroaders, 5-1
The Kansas City T-Bones defeated the Cleburne Railroaders, 5-1. Christian Binford allowed one run in five innings to earn the victory. Henry Owens tossed three scoreless frames and Carlos Diaz finished off the game with a scoreless inning. Dylan Tice and Daniel Nava each had three hits for Kansas City.
RedHawks Edge RailCats, 8-6
The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks could only score in two frames on Thursday, but that was enough to defeat the Gary Southshore RailCats, 8-6. Fargo scored five in the sixth and three in the seventh. Devan Ahart and Corelle Prime each had three hits, and Prime added two RBI. Daniel Comstock homered for the second straight night.
Goldeyes Complete Sweep, 7-2
Kyle Martin and Wily Garcia each drove in three runs to aid the Winnipeg Goldeyes in their 7-2 victory of the Lincoln Saltdogs. Joel Bender earned the victory, allowing two runs in six innings. The victory keeps the Goldeyes a half-game behind the Saints for second place in the North.
Five Run Frame All Milwaukee Needs to Down Dogs, 5-3
The Milwaukee Milkmen scored all of their runs in the top of the sixth inning to down the Chicago Dogs, 5-3. Adam Walker blasted a three run homer, his 16th of the year. Kurt Heyer was brilliant for the Milkmen, allowing three runs while striking out seven in seven innings.
Canaries Edge AirHogs, 2-1
Keaton Steele tossed six outstanding innings to help lead the Sioux Falls Canaries to a 2-1 victory over the Texas AirHogs. Steele allowed one run on six hits, striking out 10 to outduel Travis Ballew, who allowed just two runs in seven innings of work. Clint Coulter drove in both runs with his 12th homer of the year.

The Sioux City Explorers five game win streak was snapped when the St. Paul Saints won 4-0. That also snapped the Saints four game losing streak. The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have won four games in a row.
