Six games were played on Thursday, including the Sioux City Explorers winning in 12 and the Winnipeg Goldeyes slugging their way to a 9-8 victory over the St. Paul Saints.

Martin Homers Twice, Goldeyes Win, 9-8
Kyle Martin homered twice, providing plenty of fireworks as the Winnipeg Goldeyes defeated the St. Paul Saints 9-8. After St. Paul scored three runs in the top of the first, Winnipeg responded by scoring nine of the next 11 runs, including four in the third. Martin finished a perfect 3-3, as did Wes Darvill. Brady Shoemaker had three hits for St. Paul.
Railroaders Rally to Down Dogs
The Cleburne Railroaders overcame an 8-4 deficit, scoring three runs in the sixth and seventh to defeat the Chicago Dogs, 11-8. Grant Buck had three hits and drove in three and Hunter Clanin had three hits and drove in two to lead the Railroaders. Cleburne has won eight of their last nine games.
Six Run Fifth Dooms Canaries
A six fun fifth inning and five no hit innings by Henry Owens were too much for the Sioux Falls Canaries as they fell to the Kansas City T-Bones, 6-3. Four different players drove in runs for K.C. and two errors helped to keep the frame going. Robert Calvano earned his first save.

Three Run Fifth Helps RedHawks Sore Over Saltdogs
The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks started the Fourth of July off on the right foot, downing the Lincoln Saltdogs 7-1. A three run fifth inning proved to be the deciding frame in the contest. Tim Colwell had a sacrifice fly in the fifth and Chris Jacobs added an RBI single. Colwell and Jacobs each finished with two RBI. Taylor Bloye earned the victory. Joe Lytle had three hits for Lincoln.
RailCats Double Up AirHogs
The Gary Southshore RailCats took an 8-1 lead on Thursday before defeating the Texas AirHogs, 10-5. Colin Willis had two hits, scored two runs, and drove in two more and Lars Liguori earned his fourth win of the season. The loss ruined a big night for Chen Junpeng, who had two hits and three RBI.
McCall Walk-Off Hit Wins It for Explorers in 12
Dexture McCall singled home Michael Lang with one out in the 12th to give the Sioux City Explorers a 3-2 victory over the Milwaukee Milkmen. McCall had two of the nine hits by Sioux City. The loss ruined a three hit night for Garrett Copeland.
