Six Run Fifth Dooms Canaries
A six fun fifth inning and five no hit innings by Henry Owens were too much for the Sioux Falls Canaries as they fell to the Kansas City T-Bones, 6-3. Four different players drove in runs for K.C. and two errors helped to keep the frame going. Robert Calvano earned his first save.
Three Run Fifth Helps RedHawks Sore Over Saltdogs
The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks started the Fourth of July off on the right foot, downing the Lincoln Saltdogs 7-1. A three run fifth inning proved to be the deciding frame in the contest. Joe Lytle had three hits for Lincoln.
