Hill Holds Down Milkmen
Taylor Hill allowed one run in seven innings as the Sioux Falls Canaries saw their losing streak come to an end. Brett Vertigan and Jordan Ebert drove in the runs for Sioux Falls. Jordan Kraus took the loss despite allowing just two runs in seven innings.
Dogs Score Three in Eighth to Down Goldeyes
A three run eighth put the Chicago Dogs on top as they would down the Winnipeg Goldeyes, 4-2. Keon Barnum put Chicago on top with an RBI double and Victor Roache followed with his seventh homer of the year. Casey Crosby earned the victory with two perfect frames of relief.
Sermo Homer Lifts Explorers to Victory
The Sioux City Explorers had no answers for John Brownell, trailing 2-0 through seven frames. However, when he came out Sioux City rallied for three in the eighth, led by a three run homer by Jose Sermo in the Explorers 3-2 victory. Matt Pobereyko came on for his 12th save of the season.
RedHawks Crush Saints, 11-1
A five run seventh inning blew open a tight affair as the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks downed the St. Paul Saints 11-1 to move back into second place in the North Division. Brennen Metzger had three hits, including his fifth homer of the season. He drove in three and scored three runs. Taylor Bloye earned the win, allowing one run in five innings.
Idrogo, Railroaders Blank AirHogs
Eudis Idrogo allowed just two hits in five innings to lead the Cleburne Railroaders to a 10-0 victory. D.J. Sharabi and Braden Pearson each pitched two innings of perfect relief to complete the shutout. Cleburne hit three homeruns, including Chase Simpson’s 10th of the year and a three run shot by Hunter Clanin, his fifth.
RailCats Double Up T-Bones
Jumpei Akanuma allowed one unearned run in five innings as the Gary Southshore RailCats defeated the Kansas City T-Bones, 6-3. Colin Willis had three hits, scored two runs, and drove in another. He hit his third homer of the year. Frank Carvallo closed it out for his third save of the season.

The Sioux Falls Canaries snapped their nine game losing streak…The Cleburne Railroadrs have he longest winning streak in the league at five games. The Gary Southshore RailCats have won four in a row.
