Goldeyes Win on Harris 2-Run Single in 10
James Harris delivered a two-run single in the 10th to give the Winnipeg Goldeyes a 7-6 victory over the Sioux City Explorers. A close pitcher’s duel through five turned into a wild affair as 12 of the 13 runs in the contest were scored after the fifth. This back-and-forth affair saw the lead change hands three times before Winnipeg would win it. Harris finished with 3 hits and 3 RBI. Jose Sermo had 2 RBI for Sioux City.

Saints Down AirHogs in 10
The Texas AirHogs and St. Paul Saints were tied at three at the end of nine, forcing extra innings. That is where Chesney Young would hit a sacrifice fly to score Dan Motl to give St. Paul the 4-3 victory. Mike Devine earned the win as the Saints bullpen tossed five innings of scoreless relief. Josh Prince had three hits for Texas.

Dogs Snap RailCats Win Streak
The Chicago Dogs earned a 5-3 victory in 10 innings, snapping the four game win streak of the Gary Southshore RailCats. Victor Roache, who had been named Player of the Week by the Minor League Sports Report earlier in the day, drove home both runs in the 1oth to help propel his team to victory. Josh Goossen-Brown earned his fourth save.

Heyer Silences T-Bones, Milkmen Win 7-4
The Milwaukee Milkmen remained red hot, winning their fifth game out of their last six when they downed the Kansas City T-Bones on Monday night, 7-4. Kurt Heyer (2-2) earned the victory with six outstanding innings, allowing just one run. Manuel Boscan had three hits and Teodoro Martinez and Jose Rosario drove in two runs apiece.

Smith Helps Drive Saltdogs to Victory
The Lincoln Saltdogs got three homeruns and Curt Smith had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the Saltdogs defeated the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 8-7. Of the 15 runs scored, 14 came in the first four innings as Nick Tepesch earned his fourth victory of the year, tying him for the American Association lead.

American Association Notes
The Texas AirHogs lost their ninth straight game on Monday night…The Minor League Sports Report and This Week in the Association named their Pitcher and Player of the Week for Week 3 in the American Association. Eddie Medina earned Pitcher of the Week honors for the second week in a row after no-hitting the Cleburne Railroaders. The Chicago Dogs Victor Roache was chosen as Player of the Week. The American Association chose these two as well.
