Evan Grills earned his first victory of the season, allowing three runs in six innings as the Winnipeg Goldeyes defeated the Milwaukee Milkmen, 6-3. Grills tied a season-high for strikeouts with nine. Kyle Martin and Jordan George each homered for Winnipeg and John Nester drove in two. The victory extended the Goldeyes lead over the Milkmen to 1.5 games.

Devine Dominates Dogs, Saints Win, 8-0
Mike Devine blanked the Chicago Dogs for eight innings as the St. Paul Saints shutout the Chicago Dogs, 8-0. Devine allowed just two hits and a walk, tying a season high with 10 strikeouts. Jameson McGrane finished off the shutout. Max Murphy, Mikey Reynolds, and John Silviano each had three hits for St. Paul. Reynolds drove in three, hitting his third homer of the year.

Eight-Run Ninth Sends Canaries Soaring, 9-4
The Sioux Falls Canaries scored eight runs in the ninth inning, overcoming a three-run deficit to defeat the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, 9-4. Alay Lago and Mike Hart each drove in two in the contest. Tyler Danish allowed two earned runs in seven innings in earning a no decision. Brennan Metzger had two hits and scored two runs for the RedHawks.
