DockHounds Comeback Falls Short in Milwaukee

FRANKLIN, WI – The Lake Country DockHounds were downed 10-7 to the Milwaukee Milkmen at Franklin Field Saturday evening.
Chad Sedio singled to right field to get the Milkmen on the board in the bottom of the first. In the third, Lake Country drove in two runs, courtesy of back-to-back singles.
Gio Brusa and Jake Snider both homered in the fourth, making it a 4-1 lead for the DockHounds. Snider went 3-4 on the day from the plate.
But Milwaukee put together a string of five runs in the next half inning to flip the game at 6-1, started by a Dylan Kelly double. Alex McRae would exit the game after loading the bases to begin the inning. He allowed 6 runs and 7 hits through 4.0 innings.
Snider reaches base again with a double to right field. Dai-Kang Yang continued his hot hitting with a 1 RBI triple in the sixth.
The ‘Hounds bullpen had a hard time finding the strike zone, walking 10 batters combined. On the other hand, eight players got in the hit column.
Gabriel Noriega reached aboard in the 9th as he was hit by a pitch. On the next at-bat, Tristen Carranza grounded into a 6-4-3 double play to end the contest.
