Nehrir Drives in Three, Milkmen Win, 4-3
Zach Nehrir drove in three runs as the Milwaukee Milkmen defeated the Chicago Dogs, 4-3. Nehrir drove in two in the first to help stake the Milkmen to a 3-0 lead. David Holmberg earned the victory, allowing three runs in seven innings. Peyton Gray recorded his ninth save of the season to close out the game.

Canaries Rally Falls Short, 9-7
Chris Chinea drove in four and John Silviano homered and drove in three as the St. Paul Saints defeated the Sioux Falls Canaries, 9-7. This was a tense affair as St. Paul took a 4-2 lead only to see the Canaries battle back to tie the score. The Saints then jumped out to a five-run lead before Sioux Falls rallied for three in the bottom of the ninth. Jameson McGrane walked three straight before finally recording the final out, earning his American Association leading 12th save.

Goldeyes Rally to Down RedHawks, 4-3
Frank Duncan allowed one earned run in 7.1 innings as the Winnipeg Goldeyes defeated the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, 4-3. John Nester gave the Goldeyes the lead in the bottom of the seventh with his sixth homer of the year. Matt Tomshaw went the distance for the RedHawks.

He has not been scored upon in his 19 appearances this season and has only allowed five hits…The RedHawks Drew Ward extended his hitting streak to 15 straight games. That ties Clint Coulter for the longest streak in the American Association this season.
