The Minor League Sports Report, working in conjunction with This Week in the Association, is honored to announce they are partnering with PURE to honor players and pitchers in the American Association during the 2021 season. This honor will include monetary rewards for pitchers and players who are chosen each week, month, and at the end of the season based upon their exceptional performance.

During the 2021 American Association season:

• The Player and Pitcher of the Week each week will each receive a check for $100.
• The Player and Pitcher of the Month will receive a check for $250.
• The Player, Pitcher, Rookie, and Manager of the Year will receive a trophy and a check for $1,000.

The PURE Performance awards will recognize those players who have stood out during the season and will be chosen in conjunction with This Week in the Association. Players and pitchers of the week will be chosen each Monday during the season, and players and pitchers of the month will be chosen on the first day of the following month. Player, Pitcher, Rookie, and Manager of the Year will be selected at the end of the season. All award winners will receive honors prior to a contest at their home park at the earliest possible date.
