Saints Rally in Homecoming, 3-2
It was like déjà vu all over again for the Saints in their return to CHS Field, as the team rallied for two runs in the eighth to earn the come from behind victory over the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, 3-2. A costly error allowed both runners to score. It was reminiscent of last season, when the Saints won seven contests after trailing late in games.

Kay, Canaries Prevail in 10, 3-1
Grant Kay tripled to score two runs in the top of the 10th as the Sioux Falls Canaries defeated the Milwaukee Milkmen, 3-1. Kevin Folman earned the victory with two scoreless innings of relief and Ryan Fritze came on in the bottom of the 10th to close out the ballgame. Alay Lago finished with three hits and Kay walked three times to go along with his game-winning hit.
Westphal, Roache Lead Dogs Past Goldeyes, 2-1
Luke Westphal tossed seven outstanding innings, holding the Winnipeg Goldeyes to one run on three his as the Chicago Dogs clipped the Winnipeg Goldeyes, 2-1. All the offense was provided by the red-hot Victor Roache, who hit his American Association leading 11th homer of the season. Roache extended his hitting streak to six games and hit his sixth homer in the last five games. Brandon Cumpton took the loss despite tossing six solid innings.

Lago leads the league with a .477 on-base percentage and a .418 batting average…In his two seasons in the league, Dogs LHP Luke Westphal has allowed just 75 hits in 109.1 innings pitched, while striking out 148…Chicago OF Victor Roache has hits in 12 of his last 13 games, raising his average from .193 to .308, a season high.
