Hello everyone and welcome back to Season 3 of Taylor Made – A program where you can get Taylor Made answers from Hamline University Head Football Coach Chip Taylor. Answers about such things as the Pipers football program, football or sports in general, or about life issues that you wish the coach to share his insights about. In our first episode the Coach shares his thoughts about the Pipers football program through the first two weeks of the season, he discusses his thoughts on player safety, and we learn a secret talent about Coach Taylor. So let’s get right to Taylor Made.
Quick Slants with Coach Steve Johnson is a weekly program that will be available each week during the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAC) season, including the playoffs. The show gives fans of Bethel University football the opportunity to ask questions of the Coach each week. Questions can be about anything, including football, sports, or life in general. Coach Johnson has the final say on all questions that will be used during the show.
On Saturday, the Bethel University Royals will take on the No. 4 team in the nation, the Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks. Bethel has reached this point because of a spirit dedicated to success and love, and no one brings greater soul to the team than Kyle Kilgore.
As the Bethel Royals prepare to take on No.4 Wisconsin-Whitewater on Saturday, many will be talking about the performance of the team’s defense. However, if this team is going to perch at the top of the Division-III College Football World, it will likely be freshman quarterback Jaran Roste that takes them there.
