Sierra, Bull Pen One-Hit AirHogs, 6-1
Carlos Sierra gave up a single to the first batter he faced, then did not give up another as the Sioux City Explorers downed the Texas AirHogs, 6-1. Sierra went seven innings, allowing a walk while striking out seven. Kyle Wren had three hits and scored three runs for Sioux City.
Abercrombie Homers Twice, Goldeyes Win 7-2
Reggie Abercrombie continues to heat up, homering twice to help the Winning Goldeyes defeat the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, 7-2. Abercrombie scored three runs and drove in three. Winnipeg hit four homers in all. Kevin McGovern earned the win, allowing two runs in seven innings for his league leading 10th victory.
Vavra, Barnum Help Dogs Sweep Saints, 10-5
The Chicago Dogs completed their sweep of the St. Paul Saints, thanks to three RBI from both Keon Barnum and Trey Vavra. Barnum hit his league leading 22nd homer of the year. Kelly Dugan, Victor Roache, and Edwin Arroyo each scored two runs for the Dogs.
Saltdogs Pound T-Bones to Complete Sweep, 15-7
Cody Regis doubled twice, tripled and drove in five to lead the Lincoln Saltdogs to a 15-7 victory over the Kansas City T-Bones. That completed the sweep of the three game series. Randolph Oduber added two hits and three RBI.
Railroaders Down Canaries, 5-2
Angel Reyes and Zach Nehrir each drove in two as the Cleburne Railroaders defeated the Sioux Falls Canaries, 5-2. Cleburne scored two runs in each of the first two innings, and added a run in the third to support Bryan Saucedo, who earned his first victory of the season. Tyler Wilson closed it out to earn his 17th save.
Sinibaldi Sharp, RailCats Win, 3-2
Justin Sinibaldi allowed two runs in six innings as the Gary Southshore RailCats edged the Milwaukee Milkmen, 3-2. Ryan Thurston tossed 2.1 innings of scoreless relief to earn the save, and John Price, Jr. had two hits and an RBI. Dan Ward drove in both runs for Milwaukee.

The RedHawks Leobaldo Pina saw his streak of reaching in consecutive games extended to 40 games. He has a .407 on-base percentage during that span…Sioux City starter Carlos Sierra extended his winning streak to six games, tied for the longest in the league this season…The AirHogs winning streak ended at four straight. The Lincoln Saltdogs have won four straight.
