There were seven games played on Wednesday, including the Sioux City Explorers extending their winning streak to 12 games and the Texas AirHogs and the Cleburne Railroaders splitting a double-header in Grand Prairie.

Explorers Win in 11, 4-3
The Sioux City Explorers won their 12th straight game, downing the Lincoln Saltdogs 4-3 in 11 innings. Adam Sasser drove home the game winning run with an RBI fielder’s choice. Nate Gercken earned the victory with 1.1 innings of shutout relief and Matt Pobereyko came on in the bottom of the 11th to record his 20th save of the season.
Five Run Eighth Propels Goldeyes, 5-2
The Winnipeg Goldeyes offense did nothing against Gary Southshore RailCats starter Justin Sinibaldi, but things changed against the bullpen, scoring five runs in the top of the eighth on their way to a 5-2 victory. All five runs came with two outs, as the rally was capped off by a two run double off the bat of Reggie Abercrombie. Victor Capellan came on in the ninth to record his 22nd save of the season.
Five Run Ninth Gives T-Bones Walk-Off Win, 7-6
The Kansas City T-Bones scored five runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to earn a walk-off victory over the Sioux Falls Canaries, 7-6. Sean O’Malley drove home the winning run with a sacrifice fly. Danny Mars had two hits and three RBI for Kansas City. Andrew Ely had four hits for Sioux Falls.
RedHawks Dominate Dogs, 8-3
The Fargo Moorehead RedHawks scored three runs in the fourth and three in the seventh to help lead the team to an 8-3 victory over the Chicago Dogs. Tim Colwell finished with three hits, two runs scored, and three RBI for Fargo-Moorhead. Tyler Pike earned the victory, allowing two runs in six innings while striking out eight.
Railroaders, AirHogs Split Double-Header
Stephen Haviar drove in the winning run with a walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Texas AirHogs managed to split their double-header with the Cleburne Railroaders. Texas trailed 3-1 in Game 2, but runs in the bottom of the third and the fourth tied the score. In the bottom of the eighth, Matt Dean drew a one-out walk. He moved to second on a catcher’s interference and reached third on a single by Luo Jinjun. With the bases-loaded and two down, Haviar singled to give the AirHogs the split.
In Game 1, the Railroaders trailed Texas 5-3 heading to the top of the sixth. A two run single by Nick Rotola tied the score, and Angel Reyes put his team ahead for good with an RBI single. Daniel Robertson finished with two hits and two RBI for Cleburne.
Medina Gem Leads Saints to 8-1 Victory
Eddie Medina tossed seven shutout innings to lead the St. Paul Saints to an 8-1 victory over the Milwaukee Milkmen. Dan Motl went 4-4 and Brady Shoemaker scored three runs and drove home two to lead the St. Paul offense. St. Paul has allowed one run through the first two games of the series.

The Sioux City Explorers won their 12th straight game on Wednesday. That includes winning 10 straight games at home…Chicago outfielder David Olmeda-Barrera extended his home hitting streak to 18 straight games…RedHawks 3B Leobaldo Pina has reached base in 36 straight games, posting a .411 on-base percentage during the streak.
