Saints Down RedHawks in 11
The St. Paul Saints forced extra innings, scoring a run in the eighth and the ninth to tie the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, and Jeremy Martinez won it with a solo shot to lead off the 11th as the Saints prevailed in the first contest of this series, 5-4. Brady Shoemaker also homered for St. Paul. The Saints got 4.1 innings of shutout relief out of their bullpen to lead the way. Devan Ahart had four hits for Fargo-Moorhead.
Garcia Homers Twice to Lead Goldeyes
Willy Garcia homered twice to lead the Winnipeg Goldeyes to a 7-5 victory over the Chicago Dogs. Kevin McGovern (5-3) earned the victory, his third straight. Edwin Arroyo hit his first homer of the season for Chicago.
Simpson Grand Slam Helps Railroaders Prevail
The Cleburne Railroaders extended their winning streak to four games, thanks to a six run sixth led by a Chase Simpson grand slam. John Nester homered twice, giving him three in his last two games. The Texas AirHogs led 2-0 before Ryan Brett cut the deficit in half with a bases loaded single. Simpson followed by hitting the first pitch he saw for his 12th homer of the year. Charlie Gillies earned the victory.
Canaries Fall to Milkmen
Three runs in both the fourth and sixth innings helped the Milwaukee Milkmen defeat the Sioux Falls Canaries, 8-2. Milwaukee led 1-0 heading into the fourth when Nolan Earley hit a two run double to extend the lead to three. He would later score on an error. In the sixth, the Milkmen blew this game open. Garrett Copeland plated a run with an RBI triple and Manuel Boscan followed with a double to score Copeland.
T.J. House (6-1) went the distance, allowing eight hits and two runs. House has now allowed two runs or less in five of his eight starts and has had a quality start in all but one of his eight appearances.

RailCats Clip T-Bones
The Gary Southshore RailCats scored three runs in the first, then let Justin Sinibaldi and two relievers do the rest in their 3-2 victory over the Kansas City T-Bones.
