RedHawks Rally to Down Dogs
The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks found themselves trailing by three coming out of the first inning, but rallied with three runs in the fourth and sixth innings on their way to an 8-4 victory over the Chicago Dogs. Will Zimmerman had a big day at the top of the order, going 2-5 with three runs driven in including his third homer of the season. Jordan George also homered in the game and Sam Dexter went 2-3 with a run in two RBI. Alex DuBord came out of the bullpen to toss 3.1 innings of shutout relief for the victory and Ryan Flores tossed the final 2.1 innings to record the save.
Johnny Adams had two hits for Chicago and Brennan Metzger went 1-4 with two runs scored. Ryan Lidge had hit in the game and drove in a run for the Dogs.

Goldeyes Rally to Down Railroaders
The Winnipeg Goldeyes rallied from an early three run deficit to defeat the Cleburne Railroaders, 7-4. Kyle Martin homered for Winnipeg which completed the sweep in Cleburne. José Jose closed out the contest to record the save.

Cougars Edge Explorers
Kacy Clemens and Nick Zammarelli each homered for the Kane County Cougars in a 5-1 victory over the Sioux City Explorers. Tyler Viza started for Kane County and was outstanding, allowing one earned run in 5.1 innings while striking out five. The bullpen did the rest, tossing 3.2 innings of scoreless relief. Kane County staked their starter to a 3-0 lead through the first two innings.
Joseph Monge went to 2-3 for Sioux City. That included hitting his fifth double of the year.

Monarchs Blank RailCats to Complete Sweep
Nick Travieso tossed six shutout innings in the bullpen did the rest as the Kansas City Monarchs defeated the Gary SouthShore RailCats, 4-0. That completed the sweep by the Monarchs who have now won eight straight games. Travieso allowed four hits and two walks while striking out six. Johnny Field had two hits and drove in a run.
Cole Cook tossed three scoreless innings for Gary. No RailCats hitter had more than one hit in the contest.

Smith Ties Mark in Saltdogs Victory
Curt Smith hit his 90th career homer in a Lincoln Saltdogs uniform to help lead the team to an 8-5 victory over the Houston Apollos. That tied a franchise record. Josh Altmann also went deep for Lincoln, who scored in each of the final four innings to rally to victory.
Matt Cronin was solid for Houston, allowing two runs in five innings, but left with the no decision. Brian Dansereau had two hits for the Apollo, including his third homer of the year.

Milkmen Edge Canaries in 10
The Milwaukee Milkmen rallied for two runs in the top of the eighth inning to tie the score, then earned the victory with a run in the top of the 10th inning, defeating the Sioux Falls Canaries, 5-4. Aaron Hill drove home the winning run with a ground out. David Washington homered and drove in two runs and Adam Brett Walker went 2-4 with three runs scored.
Sioux Falls got another big contest out of Logan Landon, who went 3-5 with three RBI. He hit his sixth homer of the year. Jabari Henry had two hits.
